Selena Gomez’s Tearful Tantrum Over Trump’s Immigration Policies Exposes Hollywood’s Delusion

Selena Gomez, the pop star-turned-actress known for her role in Only Murders in the Building, once again proved just how out of touch Hollywood elites are when she posted (and swiftly deleted) a tearful video condemning former President Donald Trump’s immigration policies. The video, in which Gomez dramatically sobbed over ICE’s crackdown on illegal immigration, has since ignited controversy, with many questioning her grasp of reality.

Enter Dr. Phil, the renowned daytime TV host who recently accompanied ICE on a raid in Chicago. His reaction to Gomez’s emotional breakdown? A reality check. “I certainly don’t think she was crying for these individuals,” Dr. Phil told the Daily Mail. “She seemed to me to be very sincere in her empathy for these individuals, but I’m not sure who she was identifying with. I don’t think she would relate to the people that were taken down in this operation.”

And there lies the problem—Selena Gomez and her fellow Hollywood elites have no idea what they are talking about when it comes to real-world issues. The reality is that ICE operations like the one Dr. Phil participated in are targeting criminals, gang members, and individuals who have broken U.S. immigration laws. Yet, Gomez and her celebrity friends want to paint every illegal immigrant as a helpless victim, ignoring the dangers posed by unchecked illegal immigration.

Gomez’s claim that Trump is “attacking” her “people” and “the children” is nothing more than emotional manipulation aimed at vilifying a president who put America’s security first. It’s the same tired script from the radical left—use emotion, distort the facts, and expect Americans to buy into their self-righteous narrative.

The truth is, under Trump’s leadership, the United States saw strong border security measures that protected American jobs, reduced crime, and ensured that immigration was conducted legally. Meanwhile, privileged celebrities like Gomez cry crocodile tears from their million-dollar mansions, far removed from the consequences of the policies they blindly oppose.

If Selena Gomez truly cared about the children and families she claims to be defending, she would advocate for legal immigration pathways, border security, and policies that prevent human trafficking and cartel operations. Instead, she chose to grandstand, make herself the center of attention, and then quietly delete the evidence when the backlash came rolling in.

While Hollywood continues to spew misinformation and emotional theatrics, real Americans recognize the truth: Donald Trump’s policies prioritized law, order, and national security. Selena Gomez’s tantrum is just another example of how out of touch the entertainment industry has become.
