MainStream Media Smears Trump’s Pro-Israel Remarks to Jewish Voters: The Truth Behind the Spin

Once again, the mainstream media is twisting the words of former President Donald Trump to push a false narrative, this time accusing him of scapegoating Jewish voters. The media claims that Trump’s remarks at the Israeli American Council (IAC) event on Thursday evening were antisemitic, completely distorting the former president’s pro-Israel message and his call for Jewish voters to support him.

Let’s set the record straight.

Trump’s Message: Support for Israel, Appeal to Jewish Voters

Speaking to a crowd of Jewish Americans, Trump emphasized his longstanding support for Israel and urged Jewish voters to recognize the accomplishments his administration had delivered for the Jewish state and the Jewish community. As reported by Breitbart News, Trump pointed out that despite his historic achievements for Israel—such as moving the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem, recognizing Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights, and brokering the groundbreaking Abraham Accords—he had only seen a small increase in support from Jewish voters.

In 2020, Trump earned between 24% and 30.5% of the Jewish vote, up slightly from 2016. In 2024, polling shows that support for Trump among Jewish voters has risen to 40%. But Trump expressed frustration that many Jewish Americans, out of habit, continue to vote for Democrats, despite the fact that the party has become increasingly hostile to Israel and has allowed antisemitism to grow within its ranks.

Mainstream Media Distortion: Ignoring the Real Message

In typical fashion, left-leaning outlets like The New York Times twisted Trump’s remarks to fit a false narrative. Their headline boldly claimed: At an event aimed at denouncing antisemitism, Donald Trump said that if he lost, ‘the Jewish people would have a lot to do’ with it.” The Times, and other outlets, implied that Trump was blaming Jewish voters in advance for a potential election loss—an absurd and dishonest interpretation of his comments.

In reality, Trump’s message was clear: He was pointing out the inconsistency in Jewish voters supporting a Democratic Party that is increasingly anti-Israel. Far from scapegoating Jewish voters, Trump was challenging them to reconsider their loyalty to a party that has allowed antisemitism to flourish while vilifying the only U.S. president in recent memory who has consistently fought for Israel’s interests.

The irony in the media’s smear campaign against Trump is that it ignores the rampant antisemitism that has taken hold within the Democratic Party. Progressive lawmakers like Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) have repeatedly made antisemitic statements, from invoking harmful stereotypes about Jewish money to questioning the loyalty of American Jews. Yet, the media largely turns a blind eye to these dangerous remarks, choosing instead to focus on fabricated claims against Trump.

During his presidency, Trump took bold and unprecedented steps to protect Israel, a key ally in the Middle East. His administration’s achievements, such as the recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, the relocation of the U.S. embassy, and the historic peace deals between Israel and several Arab nations, have made him one of the most pro-Israel leaders in U.S. history.

Despite these monumental achievements, many in the Jewish community continue to vote for Democrats, whose party is increasingly influenced by far-left activists who are openly hostile to Israel. It is this inconsistency that Trump was highlighting—not scapegoating Jewish voters, but challenging them to reassess their political allegiances in light of the Democrats’ drift away from Israel.

The false narrative pushed by the mainstream media is an insult to Trump’s genuine commitment to the Jewish community. Throughout his presidency, he stood firmly with Israel, and he has been outspoken in condemning antisemitism at home and abroad. Trump’s policies and his support for the Jewish people were not just lip service—they were real, substantive actions that made a difference.

It is no coincidence that under Trump’s leadership, Israel experienced unprecedented diplomatic breakthroughs, and American Jews were safer and more prosperous. His administration created policies that strengthened the U.S.-Israel alliance and provided unparalleled support to the Jewish state.

The media’s desperate attempt to smear Trump as antisemitic is nothing more than another attempt to distort the truth. The reality is that Trump has been one of the most pro-Israel presidents in U.S. history, and his remarks at the IAC were an appeal to Jewish voters to recognize that the Democratic Party no longer represents their interests.

Instead of falling for the lies of the mainstream media, Jewish voters—and all Americans—should look at the facts. Trump has consistently stood with Israel and against antisemitism. The same cannot be said for the Democratic Party, which has allowed antisemitism to fester and grow within its ranks.

In 2024, Jewish voters have a choice: continue to support a party that increasingly sides with anti-Israel forces, or stand with a leader who has consistently fought for the Jewish state and the safety of the Jewish people. The choice is clear. Donald Trump is the only candidate who truly understands the importance of protecting Israel and fighting antisemitism—and he deserves the support of the Jewish community.
