Franklin Graham: ‘God Spared Donald Trump’s Life for a Divine Purpose’

In a profound testament of faith, Evangelist Franklin Graham stated on Wednesday that he believes God intervened to spare former President Donald Trump’s life from assassination so he could fulfill a higher purpose in reclaiming the White House. Graham’s declaration follows Trump’s own remarks on Election Night, where the President-elect attributed his victory to divine intervention.

Trump’s triumphant return to the White House came through a sweeping victory across the South, Southwest, and industrial heartland, regions that have long been bastions of conservative values and faith in God. During his victory speech, Trump spoke openly about his belief that his life was spared by God for a mission. “Many people have told me that God spared my life for a reason, and that reason was to save our country and to restore America to greatness. And now we are going to fulfill that mission together,” Trump declared to a cheering crowd. “We’re going to fulfill that mission.”

Evangelist Franklin Graham, president of Samaritan’s Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, echoed Trump’s sentiments on Piers Morgan Uncensored, sharing remarkable stories of near-death experiences that he believes demonstrate God’s hand at work. Recalling an incident in Pennsylvania, Graham explained, “When he was there in Pennsylvania, and that bullet went through his ear, just missing his brain by a millimeter or so, I believe God turned his head at that precise moment that saved his life.” Graham added, “And then to have another assassin waiting for him on the golf course, and they were able to spoil that. I believe it’s God—no question.”

To many Christians across the country, these events are seen as no coincidence. Graham’s statements resonate with believers who feel that God has called Trump for a specific purpose at this time in history: to restore the nation and uphold America’s founding Christian principles. As Trump prepares to lead once more, Graham and millions of faithful Americans are praying fervently for his guidance and protection.

For many, Trump’s victory is viewed as an answered prayer, a reaffirmation that God is still at work in the life of the nation. Christians across America are inspired to continue their prayers, believing that Trump’s return to the White House is part of a divine mission to restore and protect the values that make America great.
