Democrats Embrace Violence: Rep. Jasmine Crockett Calls for “Punching” and “Knocking Over the Head” to Win in Texas

Left’s Double Standard on Political Rhetoric Exposed

In yet another display of the Democrats’ hypocrisy on political rhetoric, Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) openly called for aggression against Republicans, stating that her party needs to “punch” to win elections in Texas. Even more alarming, she specifically singled out Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), saying he needs to be “knocked over the head, like, hard.”

Crockett made these remarks during an interview with NBC 5’s Phil Prazan and The Dallas Morning News’s Gromer Jeffers, where she was asked how Democrats can win elections statewide in Texas. Instead of offering a message of unity or policy solutions, Crockett’s response was clear: fight with aggression.

“I think that you punch,” she said. “I think you punch. I think you’re ok with — you’re ok with punching.”

She then continued, using rhetoric that would undoubtedly spark outrage if it came from a conservative politician.

“But, like, it’s Ted Cruz. I mean, like, this dude has to be knocked over the head, like, hard, right?” she added. “Like, there is no niceties with him, like, at all. Like, you go clean off on him, right?”

This type of language is nothing new from the left. While Democrats and their allies in the media have spent years accusing conservatives of stoking division and “inciting violence,” they have remained silent when their own party members resort to violent rhetoric.

From Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) encouraging harassment of Trump officials in public to Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) threatening Supreme Court justices, the Democratic Party has repeatedly engaged in this kind of speech. And now, Rep. Crockett is adding her name to the list, openly endorsing a combative and aggressive strategy for winning elections.

Imagine if a Republican had said something similar about a Democrat. The mainstream media would be in full meltdown mode, calling for resignations and accusing the GOP of inciting violence. But when a Democrat uses such language? Silence.

The reality is that Crockett’s remarks are just another example of the left’s dangerous double standard. They claim to stand against violence and division, yet time and time again, their rhetoric tells a different story.

Sen. Ted Cruz has yet to respond to Crockett’s inflammatory comments, but Texans know better than to fall for these desperate tactics. Instead of engaging in divisive rhetoric, Republicans continue to focus on policies that benefit the people of Texas—stronger borders, lower taxes, and protecting constitutional rights.
