Mexico’s National Institute of Migration (INM) recently announced the first bus of migrants under the “Secure Emerging Mobility Corridor” program—a program that offers migrants free transportation, meals, and security from the Mexico-Guatemala border to the U.S., where they will be welcomed through the Biden administration’s CBP One app.
This blatant disregard for our nation’s sovereignty is yet another example of how the Biden-Harris administration is prioritizing the needs of foreign migrants over the safety, security, and welfare of American citizens. The so-called “Secure Emerging Mobility Corridor” is nothing more than an express lane for illegal immigration, allowing migrants from Central and South American countries to bypass crucial checks and flood across our southern border.
By offering free transportation from deep inside Mexico to U.S. ports of entry, the Mexican government is essentially acting as a chauffeur service for migrants seeking to claim asylum under a system that has been exploited beyond recognition. Worse yet, this program—reportedly established after meetings between the Biden-Harris administration and Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador—sidesteps Congress entirely. The American people never had a say in this binational agreement, and the Biden-Harris administration is pushing it through with no oversight.
The CBP One app, touted as a means to streamline asylum claims, has instead become a tool for mass entry into the United States. Up to 1,450 migrants are released into the U.S. daily without the need for a credible fear interview, an essential part of the asylum process that ensures individuals are fleeing legitimate persecution. By bypassing this critical step, the Biden administration is allowing economic migrants to flood into the U.S. under the guise of asylum seekers, with no real checks in place.
Let’s be clear: Congress never authorized this program. This is an executive overreach, a deliberate effort to open the floodgates and undermine the legal immigration system that millions have followed for generations. The Biden-Harris administration’s CBP One program is allowing more than 500,000 migrants to enter the U.S. yearly, with no guarantee that these individuals meet the necessary criteria for asylum.
