A $45 billion for internet network is part of Biden's plans

Earlier this week, the Biden administration invited governors and other leaders to begin the process of applying for funding to provide high-speed internet to every U.S. resident by roughly 2028.


Gina Raimondo, the secretary of commerce, is overseeing the distribution of broadband internet and said it would be similar to electrifying rural America as part of the Great Depression; people would then be able to utilize the internet in today's economy.
